West Virginia University Moot Court Judges Needed
The National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition, hosted March 3-5 by WVU Law, is looking for volunteer judges. A judge must be an attorney of good standing licensed to practice law in any state. Judges are needed for the morning and afternoon of Thursday, March 3 and Friday, March 4, and the morning of Saturday, March 5.
The competition will be held in Morgantown, WV at WVU’s Erickson Alumni Center and lunch is provided. Now in its sixth year, the competition attracts exceptional law students from across the country. Twenty-four teams will compete this year, arguing whether FERC’s approval of a natural gas interstate transportation pipeline violated the National Environmental Policy Act and the Endangered Species Act.
Interested parties should contact Samantha Stefanov at wvumoot@mail.wvu.edu for more details. Please put “Moot Court Judge” in the subject line. For more information on the National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition, visit http://energycomp.law.wvu.edu/
