We’re thrilled to introduce three distinguished professionals who are guiding this year’s event. Katrina Bowers, Assistant General Counsel of Litigation, Diversified Energy
Katrina Bowers brings a deep understanding of litigation and regulatory strategy to the EMLF Annual Institute. At Diversified Energy, she manages complex litigation and provides legal guidance across environmental, safety, land, and government affairs operations in key energy-producing regions. Prior to joining Diversified, Katrina was a shareholder at Babst Calland, where she represented major oil and gas clients and led the firm’s airport practice. A West Virginia University College of Law graduate, Katrina lives in Charleston, WV, with her husband and two young children. Her grounded leadership and broad industry insight make her a natural choice to help lead this year’s program.
Michael J. Moore, Member, Steptoe & Johnson PLLC
As a seasoned labor relations attorney, Michael Moore’s career reflects a deep commitment to serving employers in high-stakes negotiations and disputes. Based in Bridgeport, WV, Michael is Assistant Chair of Steptoe & Johnson’s Traditional Labor Practice Group and a recognized leader in labor law, having appeared before the National Labor Relations Board and led complex arbitrations statewide. Beyond the courtroom, Michael is a dedicated community advocate, holding leadership roles with the Clarksburg Salvation Army and the United Way. Named the West Virginia State Bar’s Young Lawyer of the Year in 2021, Michael brings both legal acumen and a passion for service to this year’s Institute.
Bryan Rohm, Deputy General Counsel, TotalEnergies USA
With a global perspective and sharp litigation experience, Bryan Rohm leads U.S. litigation efforts for TotalEnergies—a multinational energy leader committed to a broad energy mix including renewables, natural gas, and biofuels. His role places him at the forefront of legal strategy in an ever-evolving energy landscape. Before joining TotalEnergies, Bryan practiced at K&L Gates LLP, where he honed his litigation skills across a broad spectrum of energy-related issues. Bryan’s global insights and legal expertise add a valuable dimension to the leadership team of this year’s Institute.
