Good morning!  We’ve decided to extend the deadline for submitting suggested topics for EMLF’s October 17 and 18 Kentucky Mineral Law Conference to July 25.  We’ve gotten some great topics so far, and cannot wait to hear more!

Topics can be on any subject of interest related to coal, oil and gas, midstream, and electric power and generation issues.  Topic proposals should include speaker suggestions, and provide a description of the legal issues to be covered so that the topic can be fully evaluated when the planning committee meets August 1 to begin the selection process.  Send your proposals to Carolyn May.

Also, we welcome anyone who is interested to assist in planning the conference!  Please just e-mail Carolyn to be added to the planning committee.  This is a great opportunity for both first-time volunteers and long-time volunteers!
