Abstracting Mineral Titles in the Appalachian Basin
A crowd of 456 abstractors, attorneys and landmen attended the EMLF’s March 10-11 programs in Canonsburg, PA, covering Basic Abstracting and Intermediate Title Issues, chaired by Arnie Schulberg, Attorney, Hurricane, WV. Basic Abstracting was taught by Joyce Trew, EQT Producing, Pittsburgh; Tom Lane, Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love, Charleston; Leslie Miller-Stover, Steptoe & Johnson, Charleston; Joel Symonds, EQT Production Co., Charleston; James Witte, Glenville State College, Glenville, WV; Ryan Purpura, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Pittsburgh; Nathaniel Hunter, Spilman Thomas & Battle, Pittsburgh; Jonathan Higie and Andrew S. Chumney, Peacock Keller & Ecker, Washington, PA; and Timothy Rounds, Jackson Kelly, Charleston.
