Kentucky Mineral Law Conference – October 18-19, 2007
The planning meeting for the annual Kentucky Mineral Law Conference will be Wednesday, July 11 in Lexington, KY. The conference is scheduled for October 18-19 at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, co-sited with the annual meeting of the Kentucky Coal Association. Steve Allen, Stites & Harbison, will serve as program chairman.

We are soliciting proposals and speakers on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to coal, oil and gas, electric power, real property, business transactions, mine safety, environmental regulations, ethics and renewable energy. Please reply to this email with a brief description of your topic – and don’t hesitate to volunteer to speak.

All topic proposals should be submitted by Tuesday, July 10, so that the planning meeting materials can be prepared and distributed.

If you wish to attend the July 11 planning luncheon or participate via conference call, please reply to this email.  We’re looking forward to the 32nd Kentucky Mineral Law Conference this fall, and thank you in advance for your help in planning the program.
