The planning meeting for the October 23-25, 2013 Kentucky Mineral Law Conference will be Monday, July 22 in Lexington, KY.  If you would like to attend this luncheon meeting or participate via conference call, please contact Sharon Daniels at sharon@emlf.org and you will be provided with more information.

EMLF members are the source of all the topics presented at programs, and we invite you to submit topics with brief descriptions related to coal, oil, natural gas, environmental, mineral title, and energy law issues for consideration by the program committee on July 22, 2013. Please include any speaker suggestions and indicate if you are personally interested in speaking on the topic you submit.

The deadline for proposing topics is Monday, July 15.  Please reply to this email or send to sharon@emlf.org so your topic will be included in the list considered by the program committee.

The program chair for the 2013 Kentucky Mineral Law Conference is David Morrison, Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, Bridgeport, WV.  Eric Waller, Assistant General Counsel, Patriot Coal Services LLC, Charleston, WV, is serving as the Coal Chair.  The Oil & Gas Chair is Kevin Ellis, Manager, Administrative and Legal, Antero Resources Corporation, Ellenboro, WV.
