Create the CLE program you want for the 34th Annual Institute, June 16-18, 2013 at Marriott’s Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, 202 East Pratt Street.  Each year the topics are generated by EMLF members who submit their ideas to the program committee, chaired  this year by Timothy W. Gresham, PennStuart, Abingdon, VA. The Coal Chair is Timothy J. Hagerty, Frost Brown Todd, Louisville, KY, and the Oil & Gas Chair is Natalie N. Jefferis, EQT Midstream in Pittsburgh, PA.  The Program Committee and the EMLF Executive Committee will meet together to select the topics and speakers from the member submissions.

Deadline for topics is Friday, February 22. We encourage you to submit suggestions to Sharon Daniels at sharon@emlf.org, covering any area of energy development, natural resources, ethics, electric power, oil & gas, coal, environmental, land and real property, and renewable energy.

Your topic suggestion should include a brief description and suggested speaker (including yourself) who can make a scholarly and balanced presentation.  Each speaker at the Annual Institute is required to submit a substantive outline or narrative article for distribution at the Annual Institute which meets various state requirements for Continuing Legal Education credits, PLUS each speaker must write an original chapter for publication in Volume 34 of the Energy & Mineral Law Institute.
