February 22 Deadline to Submit Topic Proposals for Annual Institute in Baltimore
A reminder to send your topic proposals for the 34th Annual Institute by the close of business on Friday, so they can be considered by the Executive Committee and Annual Institute Program Chairs next week.  Send energy and mineral law topics with a short descriptive paragraph and any proposed speaker(s) to sharon@emlf.org through February 22.

You can review the current list of topic submissions (titles only) on the EMLF website at “What’s Happening.”

Annual Institute speakers are required to submit a law review quality chapter for publication in Volume 34 of the Energy & Mineral Law Institute, in addition to preparing a substantive outline keyed to their oral presentation at the Annual Institute.

The Annual Institute will be June 16-18, 2013 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.  The Program Chair is Tim Gresham, Penn Stuart & Eskridge, Abingdon, VA; Coal Chair is Tim Hagerty, Frost Brown Todd, Louisville, KY; and Oil & Gas Chair is Natalie Jefferis, EQT Midstream, Pittsburgh, PA.
