EMLF Young Lawyers Committee Formed

The Energy & Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF) is pleased to announce the formation of the Young Lawyers Committee (YLC), which will engage young lawyers (less than 40 years of age or less than 10 years in practice) through targeted programs, announcements and initiatives.
Specifically, the YLC seeks to (1) create networking opportunities among peers in the energy legal field, (2) facilitate the growth of young lawyer EMLF membership and participation, and (3) provide perspective on emerging areas of law and shifting industry trends.
We ask all EMLF members to let us know if you, or anyone else in your firm/company/organization, are interested in joining the YLC.  Please forward any interested names with contact information to the YLC co-chairs, Alex Sears (alexandria.sears@steptoe-johnson.com) and Travis Brannon  (travis.brannon@klgates.com), to be added to the committee roster, which is free to EMLF members.
Additionally, we invite all young lawyers and law students to join us for our first YLC event – a reception to be held the evening of Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at the Hilton/Lexington Downtown, Lexington, KY – as a kick off to the Kentucky Mineral Law Conference.  Additional details to follow in the coming days!

Join EMLF!

Membership in the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation is open to anyone who is concerned with issues pertaining to the energy industry.
