Cancellation Policy: Full refunds less a $75 administrative fee will be given for written registration cancellations received by October 4. No registration refunds will be made thereafter, but substitutions can be made by e-mailing dawn@emlf.org. Persons not entitled to any refund will receive meeting materials. EMLF members who cancel their registrations after October 4 receive materials and a $100 credit toward a future program.
Press Policy: All EMLF conferences are held under the Chatham House Rule. Participants, including journalists, are free to use any information received, but comments may not be attributed to any speaker identified by name or affiliation. Audio and video recording, streaming, or other types of live or stored dissemination are not permitted without express authorization from EMLF.
Privacy Policy: By entering your registration information, you agree to receive communications from us as to our programs, products, and services, provided that you may opt out of receiving email notices at any time. Additionally, you consent to EMLF providing your name, affiliation, and/or contact information to other conference registrants and conference sponsors. By attending the conference, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for e-news, web casts, social media, promotional purposes, advertising, and inclusion on EMLF’s website; waive any claims for payment or royalties; and release EMLF, its officers and employees, from any liability connected with same. EMLF will not sell information or media to any third party.
COVID-19 Waiver: The Energy & Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF) will be conducting conference events in accordance with local public health directives, and will take all reasonable and prudent measures to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 and other viruses. However, EMLF will be unable to reduce the level of risk to zero. By registering for this conference, I acknowledge that there is a heightened degree of personal risk in my participation thereof, and I agree that EMLF shall not be held liable in the event that I contract an illness or otherwise suffer an injury as a result of my participation. I agree to monitor my own health status and will not attend the program if I am symptomatic or have a known exposure to COVID-19 and its variants. I agree to comply with all measures implemented by the EMLF and/or venue staff including, but not limited to: the wearing of masks, engaging in prescribed social distancing, temperature checks, following prescribed wayfinding pathways and other directional guides, and any other protocols imposed by the venue or EMLF. I understand that venue or EMLF policy may be more stringent than federal, state, or local law. I understand that stated guidelines at the time of registration may change due to circumstances beyond the control of EMLF, and will monitor EMLF communications for any updated guidance. I understand that should I fail to comply with health protocols after having been asked to do so, EMLF staff may ask me to leave the conference, and I will not be entitled to a refund or reimbursement of expenses.
