EMLF is calling for topics, speaker proposals and volunteers to participate in planning for the Annual Institute and to act as coordinators during the event to be held at The Charleston Place June 18-20, 2023. To volunteer for the planning team, as an event coordinator or to submit topic proposals and speakers, please e-mail Anna at anna@emlf.org.

This is an opportunity to request a topic you’re passionate about, promote a great speaker (self-nominations accepted) or meet new people interested in what EMLF does: promote education and provide opportunities for career development and networking.

Topics should cover some aspect of energy production (including coal and other minerals, oil and gas, and renewable sources) or power generation, including general corporate issues such as labor and employment, diversity and inclusion, financing and market trends, land use and acquisition, and others. We also address topics that address attorney ethics, practice management, and mental health. Topics must include a brief description of the subject to be covered, and if available, should include a title and proposed speaker.
