About Sharon J. Daniels

Sharon Daniels dedicated her career as a steward of the mission of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation. EMLF’s longest-serving Executive Director, Sharon worked tirelessly for over thirty-five years to grow the membership and reach of the Foundation, including overseeing the establishment of the Foundation’s endowment, developing the standards for the high quality educational programming that our industry has relied on for years, and supporting the educational goals of thousands of law students. Sharon guided EMLF through changes in the legal profession, changes in the industry, and changes in the landscape of legal education. As we envision EMLF’s next forty years, we are so fortunate to be able to build on the work Sharon did to ensure the Foundation’s success.

In honor of Sharon’s 2018 retirement, the Board of Trustees established the Sharon J. Daniels Scholarship Fund to provide annual financial support to a law student who is interested in pursuing energy law.
